DevOps Engineer
Location: New York City, NY / Jersey City, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Initial onboarding primarily onsite in NYC, followed by a regular split schedule between NYC and Jersey City

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support ongoing development and operations for a critical Risk Aggregation Engine (RRA) that calculates risk across the front office.
This role will focus on CI/CD, build and deployment automation, containerization, platform support, and operational improvements within an enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gradle, and Python scripting and is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and partnering with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
Financial services or banking experience is highly preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins workflows.Support build, deployment, and release processes across multiple environments.Automate software delivery and operational processes using scripting and DevOps tools.Work with Docker and Kubernetes to support containerized applications and deployments.Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git.Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation and operational support.Support Gradle-based build processes and troubleshoot build-related issues.Monitor application and platform health and assist with incident resolution.Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment and operational processes.Track and manage work items through Jira.Respond to user access requests and support related provisioning activities.Identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.Participate in ongoing enhancements and support activities for the Risk Aggregation Engine environment.Required Qualifications
