The Full-Stack Developer, Automation & AI Engineer will support the IT team in building and maintaining internal web applications, backend services, and AI-assisted automations that allow employees to work more efficiently and effectively.
This individual will collaborate with colleagues across departments to understand business and end user needs and develop tools that improve operational efficiency for wealth management functions.
The Full-Stack Developer, Automation & AI Engineer will be based in the firm's Richmond, VA headquarters and report to the Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities & Essential Job Duties
Design, build, deploy, and maintain internal web applications and automation tools that drive measurable improvements in operational efficiencyDevelop backend services, RESTful API integrations, and end-to-end workflow automations to streamline business processesLeverage AI-assisted development tools and techniques to accelerate delivery and enhance application capabilitiesPartner with colleagues across departments to translate business needs into technical solutionsSupport application deployments, perform troubleshooting, and drive continuous system improvementsContribute to the evolution of internal development standards, tooling, and best practices as the team scales
Professional Skills & Experience
Required experience includes:
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted programming and development workflowsProfessional-level proficiency in PHP, Python, and MariaDBExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Experience Includes
JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.PowerShell and Linux scripting.Microsoft SQL Server experience.CI/CD and deployment workflows.Basic networking knowledge.
The final salary or hourly rate offered for this role will fall within the range set below based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, and competencies.
Base Compensation: $$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 Annually
