In this 100% remote position, you will report to the e-Commerce Manager and your responsibilities will include the following:
Responsibility for the merchandising of the European websites to support local priorities and activities to maximize DTC sales, including pricing uploads, collaboration on local promotions and organization of translations of product and site copy to local languages (German)Provides market insights and regional expertise to inform global seasonal campaigns and brand strategy, ensuring alignment with European customer preferences, buying behavior, and regulatory/market nuancesWorks cross-functionally and in conjunction with teams both in Europe and in the US, collaborating across eCommerce and MarketingGeneral maintenance of the European website, including updates and content creation to ensure product and content integritySupports Customer Service team through DTC operations and by assisting with eCommerce related customer inquiries from around EuropeCoordinates with the digital ad agency on creative assets and marketing needs, partnering closely with E-Commerce Manager to deliver a best-in-class, premium customer experienceSchedules DTC newsletters (emails) for the European market based on the eCom GTM and seasonal strategy, monitors results, and consistently maintains the email databaseSupports Retail with newsletters, including creation, templates, and/or sendingMonitors inventory levels, optimizes product placement based on stock levels, and collaborates with the North American Merchandiser Analyst and E-Commerce Manager on product lifecycle managementMonitors and analyzes product performance metrics to identify trends and implement strategies that improve product visibility, customer engagement, and sales performanceImplements SEO/AIO content and strategies aligned with global best practices
Candidate Requirements
Commercial education (KV, commercial school) and further education in eCommerce or bachelor’s degree in related field2 – 5 years of experience in eCommerce, ideally with a focus on merchandising or digital marketingStrong understanding of digital landscape (online merchandising, digital marketing, SEO, web development) and of the metrics that drive value in an eCommerce business (traffic, inventory, etc.)Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plusExperience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Emarsys) and campaign executionExcellent project management and organization skills, self-directed and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects and adhering to various deadlinesStrong customer-focus with an understanding of how to optimize the on-site customer experience and improve the customer journey, engagement, and salesNumeric and analytic aptitude with proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Office programsVery good communication skills in German (mother tongue) and EnglishSporty and passionate person who loves to work independently but also in a team
