Fred Beans Automotive Group is looking for an Application Developer to help us build a new internal development function from the ground up.
This isn’t a position where you’ll spend your days simply maintaining someone else’s software.
You’ll work directly with leadership and employees across our dealerships and businesses to identify problems, develop practical solutions, test them in real-world environments, and continually improve what you build.
Even more exciting, some of what you create could eventually become revenue-generating technology products for the automotive industry.
What You’ll Do
Your role will have two primary focuses:
Build technology that makes Fred Beans better.
Develop applications and tools that simplify processes, eliminate paperwork, improve workflows, and make our employees’ jobs easier.
Initial projects may include:
Digitizing incident reporting and employee referral programsStreamlining hiring and termination processesBuilding dealership workflow and operational toolsIdentifying manual processes that can be improved through technology
Build products with commercial potential.
Help us develop proprietary technology that could replace third-party products we currently purchase—and potentially become solutions we can offer to other automotive businesses.

What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of professional software development experienceExperience with .NET Framework, C#, VB, ASP.NET and/or MAUIExperience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and JSONSQL/MySQL experience preferredGitHub or similar version-control experienceAbility to take a project from idea through development, testing, launch, and ongoing supportStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projectsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience preferredAutomotive experience is not required.
