Backend Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

Bring innovation to life The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs and integration components using the Microsoft .NET platform with C#. The role focuses on building reliable domain services, adapters and integration layers within a modern layered architecture (Frontend → BFF → Message Bus → Adapters). The Backend Developer collaborates closely with Full Stack and Frontend Developers to ensure seamless communication between frontend applications and backend services. While the primary expertise is backend development using .NET and C#, the role also requires working knowledge of TypeScript to support Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services and assist Full Stack developers when needed. The developer contributes to secure, scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions following modern engineering and DevOps practices. According to the collective agreement, this position offers a gross annual salary of €XX,XXX on a full-time basis and will be significantly higher depending on professional experience and qualifications. This position is subject to the minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry, based on 38,5 hours per week. The amount of the overpayment depends on your professional qualifications and experience, as well as the labor market in Vorarlberg.
