Lead Mechanical Engineer | Eindhoven For one of our clients in Eindhoven, we are looking for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to take a key technical role in the development of complex high-tech mechanical systems. About the role As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will combine hands-on mechanical engineering with technical leadership, guiding and supporting a team of approximately 3–8 Mechanical Engineers. Your responsibilities include: Designing and developing complex mechanical modules and systemsEnsuring functionality, quality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness of mechanical designsCoordinating technical activities within the engineering teamWorking closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teamsSupporting technical decision-making and monitoring project progressContributing to design reviews and engineering change processesCoaching and supporting fellow Mechanical EngineersContributing to the continuous improvement of engineering methodologies What we are looking for HBO/WO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical fieldMinimum 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience in a high-tech environmentExperience with Siemens NX and TeamcenterStrong mechanical design and problem-solving skillsExperience with structured product development, preferably the V-modelTechnical leadership and team coordination skills What we offer Salary between €5,500 and €6,300 gross per monthFull-time position of 38–40 hours per weekVisa sponsorship available for eligible candidatesChallenging technical projects within a high-tech environmentCombination of hands-on engineering and technical leadershipOpportunity to lead and support a team of Mechanical EngineersMultidisciplinary and innovative working environmentLong-term career opportunities About the company Our client is an international high-tech organization based in the Eindhoven region, developing complex and innovative modules and systems for leading customers in advanced technology industries.
