Description

Role: Software Engineer – Generative AI & Cloud Platforms Team: Geopolitics (Internal GenAI Initiatives) | Global / Remote Contract type: UOP only. Core Responsibilities Build GenAI Systems: Develop RAG pipelines and multi-agent workflows using Python, AWS Bedrock, and direct LLM APIs (OpenAI) over heavy frameworks.Manage Vector Data: Store and index custom embeddings using PostgreSQL (pg_vector) and OpenSearch/ElasticSearch.Deploy Cloud Infra: Provision, scale, and optimize AWS resources using Terraform, Docker, and serverless patterns with a focus on cost and performance.Full-Stack Support: Build scalable backend APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Django) and integrate with modern frontends (React, Angular).Data Ingestion: Create web-scraping pipelines for geopolitical data collection. Key Qualifications AI/Data: Hands-on RAG, vector search (pg_vector, OpenSearch), and agent frameworks (AutoGen).Backend & Cloud: Strong Python, SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB), AWS, and Terraform.Frontend: Exposure to at least two frontend frameworks (React, Angular).Soft Skills: Fluent English, strong async collaboration across global time zones, and clear technical communication.
