As we build our modern digital banking platform from the ground up, we are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to take technical ownership of our mobile app and help us build secure, reliable, and high-performance financial features. The Role: This is a highly practical, hands-on role for an engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, building modular architectures, and bringing production-grade features to life. You won't just be executing pre-defined tickets—you will shape our mobile architecture, influence engineering practices, and own features from initial design to App Store release. Working alongside experienced engineers across mobile, backend, security, and product teams, you will ensure our iOS app is as secure and seamless as it is powerful. Main Responsibilities: Technical Ownership: Design, develop, and maintain production-grade iOS functionality using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern Apple technologies throughout the full engineering lifecycle.Architecture & Standards: Build maintainable, modular, and testable components while actively contributing to the evolution of our mobile architecture.Secure Integrations: Design secure integrations with backend services (RESTful APIs, WebSockets) and implement biometrics, authentication, encryption, and local data persistence.Performance & Stability: Diagnose complex crashes, networking issues, and performance bottlenecks, optimizing app startup time, responsiveness, and resource usage.Release & Automation: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (unit, integration, UI), app signing, and App Store deployment processes.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Backend, Design, Product, QA, and Security teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences. Who You Are: The Specialist: You have a deep understanding of the iOS SDK, Swift concurrency, state management, and modern iOS architectures.The Builder: You take pride in writing clean, testable code and building secure applications that operate flawlessly under high-security or transaction-intensive demands.The Problem Solver: You proactively identify technical debt and enjoy digging into performance logs, crash reports, and complex edge cases to find pragmatic solutions.The Communicator: You enjoy technical discussions, code reviews, and collaborating asynchronously across distributed cross-functional teams in fluent English. Requirements: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on iOS development.Proven track record of delivering production-grade iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and/or UIKit.Strong expertise in mobile security, secure data storage, biometrics, REST APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous programming.Solid understanding of automated testing, Git, CI/CD, and App Store release management.Fluency in English (written and spoken).Must have the legal right to work in the EU (candidates from CIS countries may be considered under a contractor model). Nice to Have: Experience in FinTech, banking, payments, or highly regulated environments.Experience with advanced Swift concurrency, passkeys/FIDO2, App Attest, or DeviceCheck.Knowledge of Kotlin or Android development.
