As part of the Commercial team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity and performance of our commercial activities in the Dutch market.
Acting as the link between Buying, Finance and Data teams, you’ll safeguard margin accuracy and be the driving factor for further process improvements and automation.
You will be reporting to the Commercial Analytics Lead and be a key sparring partner to our commercial teams, helping them make smarter and data-driven financial decisions.Tricks of the tradeSales & margin controlling: Monitor purchase prices, margins and quantities of the entire assortment to safeguard financial integrityCommercial insights: Analyze financial KPIs and category performance, identify opportunities, spot weak performance and drive financial planning.
Deal reporting: Ensure all supplier deals are correctly documented, communicated, and reflected in reportingInvoice, discount & counterpart management: Oversee off-invoice discounts, counterpart agreements and receivables to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely follow-upTax & regulatory compliance: Ensure consumer taxes are correctly configured and support year-end settlementsYour superpowersBSc degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a related field1-2 years of experience in a controlling, FP&A, or commercial finance roleStrong understanding of sales, pricing, and margin analysisExcellent analytical and problem solving skills - comfortable with large data setsStrong attention to detail with a structured approach and accurate executionAdvanced proficiency in Excel (or Google Sheets); experience with data tools (e.g.
