About the Role The Platform Engineer sits at the heart of engineering, focusing on building and improving internal platforms that enable teams to deliver software faster, more reliably, and with greater efficiency. You will treat internal platforms as products, working closely with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve developer experience, standardise processes, and drive automation - while actively leveraging AI and modern tooling to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Own and continuously improve engineering platforms (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, observability tools)Design and implement automation, self-service capabilities, and reusable templatesEnhance CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and platform integrationsSupport infrastructure-as-code and cloud-based environmentsImprove reliability, scalability, security, and performance through monitoring and automationTroubleshoot complex platform and integration issues across multiple systemsDefine best practices, standards, and documentation for engineering teamsCollaborate cross-functionally to onboard new use cases and improve platform adoption Requirements: Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure rolesStrong knowledge of CI/CD, source control, and developer platformsHands-on experience with scripting (Python, Bash or similar)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Helm)Good understanding of cloud, containers, Linux, networking, and securityAbility to translate engineering needs into scalable platform solutionsStrong communication skills and a user-focused mindset Nice to Have: Experience with Kubernetes or container platformsExposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid cloud environmentsKnowledge of observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk)Experience in regulated environments (finance, banking, payments)Interest in AI-driven automation and improving engineering productivity Work Arrangement This is a hybrid role based in Warsaw, with three days per week in the office. Remote contract arrangements are being considered.The role is offered primarily as a permanent contract (Umowa o Pracę – UoP). However, B2B contracts are also available.Salary range: 20,000 PLN – 40,000 PLN (depending on experience and contract type).
