Internal Developer Platform Engineer Copenhagen, Denmark — Hybrid Developer Tools | Internal Developer Platforms | Platform Engineering | Developer Experience Our client, a growing Developer Tools company based in Copenhagen, is looking for an Internal Developer Platform Engineer to build the self-service platform used by product teams to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage cloud environments independently. You'll work at the intersection of Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, and Developer Experience, turning Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure into simple, reusable capabilities that developers can consume without becoming infrastructure experts themselves. What You'll Work On • Build and evolve an Internal Developer Platform using Backstage • Develop self-service infrastructure and deployment capabilities • Operate and improve Kubernetes environments on AWS • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform • Build platform services and developer tooling in Go • Implement GitOps-based deployment workflows • Create reusable templates and golden paths for engineering teams • Automate environment creation, configuration, and lifecycle management • Improve platform observability, reliability, and developer experience • Work directly with product teams to identify and remove infrastructure bottlenecks Core Skills • 4+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles • Kubernetes • Backstage • Terraform • Go • GitOps • AWS • Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and developer platforms Nice to Have Argo CD / Flux Kubernetes Operators Crossplane Helm Prometheus / OpenTelemetry Platform APIs / gRPC Developer portals and service catalogues Experience designing golden paths or paved roads Previous Internal Developer Platform or Developer Experience experience
