Systems Engineer | Malta | Hybrid
A leading ICT and cloud solutions provider is looking for a Systems Engineer to join its specialist infrastructure team in Malta.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise environments who wants to work on diverse projects for some of Malta's leading organisations while continuing to grow through training and certifications.
The Role
You'll support, maintain, and optimise modern infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, working closely with both customers and internal technical teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Support infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.Troubleshoot technical issues across cloud platforms, operating systems, networking, identity, and enterprise infrastructure.Perform preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and health checks to maximise performance and reliability.Provide technical support and guidance to customers across a range of Microsoft and cloud technologies.Create and maintain clear technical documentation for implementations and support activities.Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programmes.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications & Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry certifications.At least 2 years' experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, cloud, or technical support.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and hybrid infrastructure environments.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused approach.The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a technical team.Industry certifications such as Microsoft, OCI, VMware, HPE, or similar are considered a strong advantage.
