Description

DevSecOps Engineer – Brno, Czech Republic – Remote/Hybrid Empiric are supporting a leading global organisation on a critical DevSecOps requirement in Brno, Czech Republic. This is a high-priority opportunity for experienced DevSecOps Engineers to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on secure CI/CD pipelines, security automation, cloud security and vulnerability management. You’ll be responsible for integrating automated security controls across development and operational environments, conducting security scans and ensuring vulnerabilities are identified, tracked and remediated effectively. Key Skills & Experience Strong experience within DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud security or platform engineering.Strong hands-on experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines.Experience automating security checks throughout the SDLC.Hands-on cloud-native and container security experience.Experience conducting container, application, infrastructure and dependency scanning.Vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking and security reporting.Strong understanding of secure coding standards and the OWASP Top 10.Good knowledge of SDLC, Agile and DevOps methodologies.Experience implementing security best practices across cloud environments. Cloud Experience Amazon Web Services (AWS).Microsoft Azure.Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Nice to Haves Experience working across multiple cloud platforms.Knowledge of security compliance and governance requirements.Relevant cloud, DevOps or cybersecurity certifications.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
