We CGI is seeking an immediate need for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our healthcare delivery team in one of our selected locations.
This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and deliver modern, scalable, and secure enterprise applications that support high impact healthcare and pharmacy benefit management solutions.
You will work in a collaborative Agile environment with product owners, architects, UX designers, DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to build end to end solutions across the front end, backend, and AI enabled application stack.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using React.js, Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
You will build responsive user interfaces, develop scalable backend APIs and services, integrate AI enabled capabilities, and optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
The position combines hands on software development with technical leadership, providing the opportunity to contribute to solution architecture, mentor team members, implement engineering best practices, and deliver enterprise grade applications from concept through production.
This is a Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunity located in Bloomfield, CT or Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid Model.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design and development of enterprise full stack solutions using React.js, Java, and Microservices.
Drive technical discussions, architecture decisions, and solution design across front end and backend technologies.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Establish and enforce development standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
Conduct code reviews and ensure application quality, security, and performance.
Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC.
Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
Promote reusable components, shared services, Microservices, and API first design principles.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI adoption, and modern engineering practices.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
At least 8–12 years of overall experience in software development with strong full stack application development expertise:
5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Strong experience building responsive web applications using React, Redux/Context API, HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
Strong experience developing RESTful APIs, Java based backend services, and Microservices using Spring Boot.
Experience integrating front end applications with backend services, APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OpenShift), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to AI/ML technologies, Generative AI, LLM integration, AI APIs, or AI assisted application development is preferred.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
Experience with Git, automated testing, and modern software development tools.
Healthcare, Health Insurance, or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain experience is preferred.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S.
is $80,600.00 $218,200.00.
