We are looking for a Lead, Category Management (Groceries & Non-Food) to be based in foodpanda Singapore. This role will be reporting into Head, Commercial in the Q-commerce team. The Category Management team oversees the strategic planning, development, and execution of product categories within the foodpanda groceries business. You will wear many hats and meticulously plan to scale the Singapore pandamart business The candidate should have experience analyzing new business opportunities and building strong partner relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. He or she is interested in creating a world-class customer experience, stays on top of industry and competitive trends, and is able to execute at both tactical and strategic levels to achieve long-term growth. Responsibilities: Act as the P&L owner across different categories (Groceries & Non-Food), possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact foodpanda businessOwnership of team OKRs including key metrics such as Topline, Margins, NMR and shrinkageDevelop and execute optimal category strategy, pricing, promotions, range, availability, and cost prices to expand both sales and marginEnsure categories have the optimal selection and strategically competitive prices in the market through local and international sourcingSource and build strong supplier base to negotiate terms improvement, secure supplier advertising spend, and ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods.Work to develop new sourcing and extended range to ensure we have high quality, good value goods available to our customers year-roundEmploy data-driven decision making to drive the category. Provide insight to the commercial team and work closely with marketing and supply chain to forecast demand and ensure consistent supplyPartner with supply chain team to manage inventory levels and wastageWork cross functionally with Product, Supply Chain, Sales Operations and Marketing to deliver strategic projectsConduct regular business reviews & JBPs with key AAA suppliersDeep dive into categories to understand best and worst practices and subsequently develop and execute short and long term strategies to drive category performanceLead and develop the team to ensure excellence in execution, to develop people skills & career development
