Knowledge:
[01] Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash
[02] Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
[03] Experience with Infrastructure automatization tools such as Terraform or VMware ARIA Automation
[04] Strong knowledge of virtualization platforms (such as VMware vSphere) and Cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
[05] Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Red Hat configuration and automatization
[06] Experience in collaborating with multiple support groups
07] Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes

Typical tasks and responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and tools to support various IT operations, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, deployment, and incident response (products including VMware, Azure/AWS/Google Cloud, Windows Server and Linux Red Hat)
- Analysing existing IT processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, proposing and developing automation strategies to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance scalability
- Writing scripts and developing code using programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate routine tasks, data processing, and system integration
- Utilizing configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) and infrastructure
-As-code (IaC) frameworks (e.g., Terraform, VMware ARIA Automation) to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of IT infrastructure components
- Recommending and implementing IT best practices
- Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures
- Providing 2nd line support to other IT teams and coordinating with 3rd line of support
- Updating the technical documentation and operating procedures
- Evaluating and implementing IT security standards
