Containers, replicated databases, queues, and pipelines that roll out without downtime.
My client takes over the systems large organisations cannot afford to lose, designs them, builds them, and then runs them for years.
You join a team of seven with full technical ownership of one customer environment and almost no management layer above it.
That team is rebuilding an application that carries a national order to invoice flow, thirty years of legacy code with more than thirty integrations hanging off it.
The old system was reverse engineered with an AI toolset and is now being rebuilt from the business logic up.
The customer works in sustainability, so what you keep running has an effect outside the office.
What you’ll do
You are the Azure specialist in a team of software engineers.
The base landing zone is delivered by another party, so you are not wiring up the corporate network.
What you build is the platform the application lands on: containers, web apps, scalable databases with regional replicas and failover, caching, queues, API gateway, DNS and load balancing.
Roughly two thirds of your time goes into CI/CD and running the thing, so pipelines that run unit, integration and stress tests and roll out without downtime, plus monitoring, observability and the on call setup around priority one incidents.
The rest is design, taking functional and non functional requirements and deciding which Azure services to use and what each trade off costs.
It is all automated with Terraform, Python and shell, never clicked together in the portal.
You also work with the in house building blocks and private registries, because nothing gets pulled straight from the open internet here.

What’s in it for you
Up to €100K gross per year including holiday pay.
An indefinite contract from day one, 32 to 40 hours, and three days a week from the office near Eindhoven.
