Role : Oracle Database Engineer-Exadata Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite) FTC Role Description: Must-Have Core Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c,23ai Database DBA.Oracle PL/SQL Development & Performance TuningBash / KSH Shell ScriptingStrong experience in backup, recovery( including flashback technologies) and migration using RMAN, datapump and export\import processesPreferably Oracle Certified Master (OCM)Expert in Exadata infrastructure / Exadata Cloud @ CustomerGood written and spoken English, German is a plusHands-on experience in Oracle ASM and Dataguard administrationPython 2.7 / 3.x DevelopmentAnsible Playbook DevelopmentGit / StashJava 7/8 Development SkillsOracle APEXKnowledge of database scripting and automation technologiesKnowledge of server concepts & architecturesKnowledge of network and firewall concepts & architecturesKnowledge of enterprise storage concepts & architecturesKnowledge of ITIL frameworkVery Good Spoken and Written English languageKnowledge of German language is a plus Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role: The Database Engineer will support the ongoing development of the relational database platforms and provide evaluation, certification and packaging of relational database tools as well as developing and maintaining platform automation scripts and applicationsUnderstand requirements and translating them to product features.Participate in Scrum meetings and demonstrate work done and the plan and communicate clearly.Work in an agile team and provide technical guidance along with participating in customer calls and drive technical discussions to deliver solutions and must have good communication skills.Develop automation platforms and modules to support database operational support teamsAnalyze incidents for root cause and update platforms and automation to eliminate problemsDevelop platform automation tooling to eliminate “toil”Provide support to application development teams in product and performance selectionL3 Product database support for Exadata Cloud and Oracle Databases.Designing Database Model
