For our client, a leading international financial institution based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join the GPS Markets PRISM team.
In this key role, you will play an important part in building and enhancing the strategic central client data platform for Global Products & Solutions (GPS).
You will contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of a highly scalable, resilient, and secure platform, working closely with business and technology stakeholders across Zurich and Singapore

Requirements
Extensive professional experience in Java development, including Core Java and enterprise application developmentStrong expertise in concurrent and multithreaded programmingProven track record of designing and delivering scalable, highly available, and mission-critical systemsExperience building and operating distributed systems and microservice-based architecturesStrong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including clean code, design patterns, code reviews, and automated testingStrong technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, event-driven architectures, and Apache KafkaExperience with cloud-native development, preferably on Microsoft AzureExperience with microservices and distributed systems designExperience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), JUnit, Mockito, and related testing frameworksExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience with Kubernetes and containerized deploymentsKnowledge of monitoring and observability tooling such as GrafanaKnowledge of security fundamentals, authentication, authorization, and secure software development practicesFluent in English; German is an advantage
