Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Support software development for connected medical devices across a portfolio including feeding, RF ablation, and pain recovery systems. • Review and interpret software deliverables from external development partners and CDMOs. • Maintain internal software knowledge of products, ensuring documentation is complete, consistent, and traceable. • Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Software/Firmware Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and V&V teams. • Support regulated product development, design controls, and Design History File documentation. • Read and interpret embedded software, firmware, and application-level code for technical reviews and troubleshooting. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • 8-10 years of experience in architecture, technical design, and software development. • Ability to interpret and assess software deliverables, requirements, and design documentation. • Strong understanding of requirements management and traceability across the product lifecycle. • Experience with operating-system kernels, bootloaders, secure boot, and firmware upgrade mechanisms. • Strong technical writing and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
