Position Overview We are hiring a JavaScript Developer for Atlassian Consulting to deliver custom development solutions for enterprise customers using Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian platform. The primary focus is development for Atlassian consulting engagements, including customizations, integrations, automation, migration utilities, and customer specific solutions. The role will also include Atlassian application development when required. This is a full time position open to qualified candidates internationally. Candidates based in Colombia must work onsite from our Chico Norte office in Bogotá. Candidates based in other countries may work remotely. All candidates must be consistently available during US Eastern Time business hours. Responsibilities • Develop custom solutions for Atlassian consulting and customer engagements • Extend Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence using Forge, JavaScript, TypeScript, Custom UI, REST APIs, and automation • Build integrations, migration utilities, scripts, workflow extensions, and Atlassian applications • Translate customer and consulting requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions • Collaborate with consultants, solution architects, project managers, and enterprise customers • Support Atlassian cloud migrations, platform transformations, testing, deployments, and production issues • Build front end and back end functionality using React, Next.js, and Node.js • Optimize performance and resolve complex technical issues • Write secure and maintainable code with unit and integration tests • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers • Create clear customer facing and internal technical documentation Required Qualifications • Two to four years of professional JavaScript development experience • Strong experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and REST APIs • Experience developing integrations and custom business solutions • Experience with Docker, testing, Git, and CI/CD practices • Strong knowledge of secure development and performance optimization • Excellent written and spoken English • Ability to communicate professionally with consultants and enterprise customers • Strong ownership, problem solving, communication, and attention to detail • Consistent availability during US Eastern Time business hours • Ability to work onsite in Bogotá if based in Colombia Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, or Atlassian Forge • Experience delivering technical solutions within consulting engagements • Experience supporting Atlassian cloud migrations or enterprise transformations • Experience building Atlassian applications or Marketplace integrations • Familiarity with Kubernetes, accessibility standards, and Atlassian APIs Why Join Atlas Bench • Join one of the fastest growing and most awarded Atlassian Solution Partners in the world • Work with enterprise customers on sophisticated Atlassian consulting and development engagements • Gain exposure to the Atlassian, Okta, and Anthropic ecosystems • Work across cloud transformation, identity, automation, artificial intelligence, and professional services • Help build custom Atlassian solutions, integrations, automation, and applications for a growing international company • Work directly with senior developers, consultants, solution architects, and delivery teams • Take meaningful ownership from customer requirements through development, testing, deployment, and support • Influence how Atlas Bench approaches solution architecture, code quality, security, and technical delivery • Develop broader technical and consulting knowledge by connecting development with customer requirements and enterprise operations • Work with an international team in a fast moving and innovative environment, onsite in Bogotá or remotely from another country • Receive mentorship, advanced training, and certification opportunities
