Staff Software Engineer

Must be US based.*** The Software Engineer Staff (Level 4) designs and builds software across Breeze’s technology platform, with an emphasis on the shared libraries, services, and tooling that other engineering teams depend on. Work may span guest-facing products, backend services, public interfaces, developer tooling, and airline internal tooling. The primary focus of this role is the operations side of the airline: the systems behind crew, dispatch, maintenance, and day-of-travel. Staff engineers are expected to identify and solve ambiguous problems and help shape technical direction across teams. Strong interpersonal skills are essential; much of the impact of this role comes through collaboration and raising the quality of the work around them. They should have a continuous desire to learn new things, and to bring what they learn back to the team. Technology is constantly evolving, and staff engineers are expected to help the organization evolve with it.
