AI Software Engineer
Summary
Our client is seeking an AI Software Engineer to build modern digital tools that support new AI-assisted service initiatives.
This role will work across the full technology stack to develop user-facing applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and data solutions.
This engineer works with AWS serverless technologies, Snowflake, generative AI tools, and enterprise systems to deliver reliable applications used by customers and operations teams every day.
This role works closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and support full-stack applications, APIs, services, and integrations.
Build internal tools that support case management, AI-assisted workflows, supervisor reporting, and administration.
Develop services that classify requests, gather customer information, and route work to the correct team.
Build integrations between customer systems, generative AI platforms, Salesforce, and other back-office applications.
Develop data-driven dashboards and reporting using Snowflake and SQL.
Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to improve development speed and quality.
Partner with Product and UX teams to turn business needs into working software.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve applications and services after deployment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
2 to 4 years of software engineering experience building web applications, APIs, or internal business applications.
Full-stack development experience across front-end, back-end, data, and integration layers.
Experience with TypeScript or Python and React or a similar front-end framework.
Hands-on experience building and deploying production applications using AWS serverless technologies.
Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse and strong SQL skills.
Experience building REST APIs and event-driven integrations, including authentication, error handling, and retry processes.
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment.
