HiringThing is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team.
This role will focus on improving our staging and production infrastructure hosted in AWS.
This role is responsible for a vital part of our security and deployment procedures, working closely with our CTO and VP of Product to maintain and adjust our strategies as needed.
You will deliver and support high-quality services and systems that exceed customer expectations and provide excellent internal stakeholder support.
You'll have significant input into product direction, technology decisions, and infrastructure development priorities.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain AWS-hosted, cloud-based infrastructure to support a reliable and scalable SaaS environmentBuild and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, and consistent software delivery (CI, staging, and production)Monitor and implement metrics for system performance, availability, and securitySupport incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident follow-up activitiesPlan and exercise our BCDR scenariosWork with the engineering team to proactively identify performance issuesMaintain our security policies and SOC II complianceCreate and maintain internal documentation of systems, workflows, and operational proceduresManage and participate in our on-call rotationFormulate and present DevOps strategyIdentify opportunities to improve observability, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiencyManage Bounty Hunter programQualifications
