Healthcare Experience: Strongly preferred
The project will enhance healthcare provider and service discovery capabilities within electronic medical record (EMR) environments, supporting eReferral workflows and standards-based healthcare interoperability.
You will work across React/TypeScript front-end applications, Java/Spring Boot microservices, FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR, FHIRCast, OpenSearch, AWS, and enterprise healthcare integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain, and support React and TypeScript applications used within EMR workflows.Implement and support SMART on FHIR launch workflows, including launch context, fhirContext, and FHIR read/write operations.Develop and maintain FHIR R4/R4B and REST APIs supporting provider, practitioner, organization, healthcare service, location, and eReferral workflows.Implement FHIRCast / Ontario CMS context synchronization for patient, encounter, user, and application context.Develop advanced provider and service search capabilities using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, including semantic search, relevance tuning, filtering, and intelligent suggestions.Develop Google Maps Platform functionality including geographic search, polygon/region overlays, clustering, and map-based service discovery.Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices supporting role-, permission-, and entitlement-aware data access.Integrate applications with NetIQ using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and RBAC.Support integration with IBM Master Data Management (MDM) and other enterprise data platforms.Implement FHIR Pub/Sub / FHIR Subscription and event-driven healthcare integration patterns.Develop automated unit, integration, API, and UI tests.Support CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud deployments, production releases, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.Participate in architecture/design sessions, Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and technical documentation.
