Description

Rust Developer I’m currently working with a leading global quantitative investment firm that is expanding its engineering team in London and looking for talented Rust Developers. This is an opportunity to work in a highly technical environment where engineering is at the heart of systematic trading, quantitative research and high-performance financial technology. You’ll be working alongside experienced software engineers and quantitative researchers to build and optimise high-performance systems, with a strong focus on speed, scalability, reliability and clean engineering. The role: Design and develop production-quality Rust systemsBuild high-performance infrastructure supporting systematic tradingWork on performance-critical systems where efficiency and reliability are crucialSolve complex problems around concurrency, memory management and distributed systemsCollaborate closely with quantitative researchers and software engineersContribute to system architecture and engineering best practicesContinuously optimise systems for performance, scalability and resilience What they're looking for: Strong professional experience with RustExcellent software engineering fundamentalsStrong understanding of data structures, algorithms and system designExperience with concurrency, multithreading or distributed systemsExperience building performance-critical or highly scalable softwareC++/C experience would be beneficialExperience within trading, financial markets or another performance-critical environment is advantageous, but not essential If you're a strong Rust Engineer interested in working at the intersection of high-performance engineering, quantitative research and systematic trading, I'd be keen to speak.
