An Entry-Level DevOps Engineer supports development and infrastructure teams by helping automate application deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud environments, monitor applications, and troubleshoot deployment or infrastructure issues.

Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Assist with application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.Work with AWS or Azure services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Azure VMs, and Azure Monitor.Build and maintain Docker containers for application deployment and environment consistency.Support basic Kubernetes deployments, services, configuration, logs, and troubleshooting.Write and maintain Terraform scripts for provisioning repeatable cloud infrastructure.Perform Linux administration, including log analysis, permissions, processes, disk utilization, and basic shell scripting.Use Git for source control, branching, pull requests, and deployment workflows.Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.Troubleshoot failed builds, deployment errors, connectivity issues, and configuration problems with development teams.Assist with Bash or Python scripting to automate repetitive operational tasks.Support environment configuration, secrets management, access controls, and basic cloud security practices.Maintain deployment procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, incident discussions, code reviews, and release activities.
