Position Title: Business Development Representative Salary: 100K Location: 5 days a week onsite, with some flexibility JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Representative to grow new business across Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, the Sea-to-Sky Corridor, and Vancouver Island. This permanent, full-time role focuses on developing relationships with residential and mixed-use developers, promoting geothermal heating and cooling solutions, drilling services, and geothermal utility projects. The successful candidate will manage opportunities from prospecting through contract execution, work closely with developers, contractors, engineers, architects, and collaborate with internal engineering and estimating teams to deliver solutions for clients. This is primarily an in-office role with occasional hybrid flexibility, working 8 to 9-hour days between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. depending on business needs REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - 2-8 years of sales experience (flexible for exceptional candidates) - Experience in construction, land development, building systems, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or related industries - Proven ability to prospect, generate new business, and build customer pipelines - Strong relationship-building and networking skills - Comfortable presenting to developers, contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders - Strong communication and presentation skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Previous geothermal industry experience - Land development experience - Construction sales background - Mechanical/HVAC industry knowledge - Experience conducting lunch-and-learn sessions or technical presentations - Experience reviewing construction proposals and working alongside engineering teams - Knowledge of BC development and construction markets - Familiarity with mid-sized residential development projects (50-200 units)
