About The Role The role owns the design, implementation, and scaling of high-throughput backend services that power core user-facing products and platform infrastructure. The engineering team builds reliable, distributed systems capable of handling millions of requests with low latency, working closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and infrastructure teams. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go for production use casesBuild and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas in PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB for high-throughput environmentsOwn microservices architecture deployments on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform infrastructure-as-codeImplement comprehensive automated testing suites, CI/CD pipelines, and robust monitoring using Datadog and PagerDutyWrite clean, maintainable, well-documented code and actively participate in architecture reviews and security audits What We Are Looking For 3–6 years of professional backend software engineering experience building distributed systems in productionStrong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Python, or Node.jsSolid understanding of database design, query optimization, caching strategies, and distributed caching mechanismsHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and modern CI/CD tooling on AWS or GCPBonus: Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ, and contribution to open-source software
