About This Role TogetherWork is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of software solutions across our SaaS platforms. Working alongside experienced engineers, product teams, and technical leaders, you'll build foundational engineering skills while contributing to customer-facing products and internal systems. You will be mentored by senior engineers and gain hands-on exposure to full-stack development, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, AI-assisted development, and modern software engineering methodologies. What You'll Do Develop, test, debug, document, and support software features across our SaaS platformsWrite clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code following established engineering standardsCollaborate with engineers, Product Managers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver customer valueParticipate in code reviews and apply feedback to continuously improve code quality and engineering skillsTroubleshoot issues in development, test, and production environments with guidance from senior engineersAssist in developing APIs, integrations, user interfaces, and backend servicesLearn and adopt cloud-native development practices and modern engineering toolsContribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiativesParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinementUtilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, troubleshooting, testing, and learningLeverage AI responsibly for research, implementation support, documentation, and automation assistance — reviewing and validating AI-generated output before it reaches productionDemonstrate ownership, accountability, professionalism, and a continuous learning mindset What You'll Bring 1-3 years of professional software development experience, internship experience, or equivalent practical experienceStrong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principlesExposure to one or more modern languages/frameworks — PHP (Laravel, Symfony), Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), or JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js, Vue.js, Angular) — through coursework, internships, personal projects, open-source contributions, or professional workFoundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, with exposure to modern front-end frameworks, responsive design, and accessibility principlesBasic understanding of RESTful APIs, service integrations, and authentication/authorization fundamentalsBasic understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), SQL fundamentals, and data modeling conceptsExposure to AWS, Git and modern source-control workflows, CI/CD concepts, and Docker/containerized applicationsUnderstanding of secure coding fundamentals, automated testing, and software quality practicesProven, daily experience using AI tooling for AI-native development, applied responsiblyGood understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologiesStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesSelf-starter with strong communication skills, a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement Why This Role Impact: Contribute to customer-facing products and internal systems across a portfolio of 33+ software applications serving 12+ vertical markets.Challenge: Build foundational engineering skills across full-stack development, cloud technologies, DevOps, and AI-assisted development, with direct mentorship from senior engineers.Ownership: Take accountability for your assigned work while gaining increasing independence in development, troubleshooting, and solution delivery.Collaboration: Partner with engineers, Product Managers, QA, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment built on obsessing over our customers, owning it together, and moving fast with purpose.
