Job Description We're looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to help keep our platform reliable, scalable, and easy to operate. From day one, you'll gain hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code while working alongside experienced engineers who will support your development. The essence of your role: Support and improve CI/CD pipelines, automating build, testing, and deployment workflows, and collaborate with engineering teams to make deployments safer and more reliableHelp manage our AWS infrastructure using TerraformMonitor platform health, improve alerting, and support incident responseContainerize applications and support workloads running on Amazon EKSWrite scripts and automation — including using AI-assisted development tools responsibly — to support troubleshooting and improve operational efficiency Qualifications This is what you need to succeed: Initial hands-on experience with Linux and cloud infrastructure, gained through employment, internships, working-student roles, or substantial projectsPractical coding or scripting experience, ideally with Bash or Python, and the ability to independently write, understand, and troubleshoot automation, along with practical experience with Git and collaborative development workflowsA solid understanding of CI/CD principles and automated software delivery, plus experience with Docker and an interest in developing your Kubernetes and Terraform skillsAn interest in using AI tools effectively for troubleshooting, automation, and everyday engineering tasks, while critically reviewing and validating their outputStrong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, along with good communication skills in English Additional Information What we offer: Flexible & Hybrid Work: Our office is at Alexanderplatz; we have a hybrid working model with flexible remote-office set-up and working hours.
