You will work within a dedicated elite team managing and building a cloud-native DevOps platform that drives analytics, insights, and AI-driven features for Akamai Guardicore Segmentation.
By building highly reliable and cost-effective infrastructure solutions, you will help process extensive security data, empowering our customers to understand their environments, minimize risks, and prevent threat proliferation.

As a key member of our team, you will partner with Site Reliability Engineers, Data Scientists, and Security Engineers to build modern solutions to global security challenges.
You Will Be Responsible For
Platform Design: Designing, operating, and scaling highly available, secure Kubernetes platformsGitOps: Building and improving GitOps-based deployment processes using Argo CD, Helm, and related technologiesInfrastructure as Code: Developing reusable cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks utilizing TerraformDeveloper Experience: Enhancing CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and self-service platform capabilitiesSystem Optimization: Improving overall platform reliability, observability, security, performance, and cost efficiencyProduction Leadership: Leading complex production investigations and driving long-term architectural improvements

Demonstrate expertise in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with proven ability to optimize and manage systems effectively.Demonstrate extensive production expertise with KubernetesHave experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Have experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and GrafanaHave scripting or programming experience using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languagesDemonstrate technical leadership, ownership, and the ability to drive cross-team initiatives
