Description

We are seeking a talented, hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead environment modernization and deployment automation initiatives for our enterprise clients. Collaborating directly with business users and client stakeholder teams, you will design architectures that solve immediate real-world bottlenecks. This strategic position not only focuses on helping client teams move away from manual "click ops" and transition into fully automated infrastructure-as-code pipelines but also offers the chance to lead small teams, influence modern design patterns, and act as a senior tier-3 escalation point for our expanding Managed Services business. Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD build and deployment pipelines for custom cloud applications.Build out scalable infrastructure-as-code deployments using Azure Bicep, Terraform, or Ansible.Lead the onboarding, migration, and cloud modernization strategies for new enterprise clients.Provide high-level technical mentorship to junior engineers and act as an escalation lead for the MSP business unit.Requirements:Deep technical expertise within Microsoft Azure ecosystems.Hands-on experience with modern automation/IaC platforms (Bicep highly preferred, Terraform, or Ansible).Strong production experience managing workloads inside Kubernetes environments.Proven capability to act as a point lead for a small engineering squad or project pipeline.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to consult directly with external business clients.Role Details:Employment Type: Full-Time, Project-FocusedSchedule: Hybrid (1–2 days on site every week or two)Location: Houston, Texas This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of cloud engineering, bridging the gap between complex cloud architecture and hands-on execution.
