Role Description Platform Engineering Lead Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Lead to drive the design development modernization and operation of enterprise application platforms The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloudnative technologies platform automation CICD container orchestration observability and microservices architectures The role requires close collaboration with architects engineering teams operations teams and business stakeholders to build scalable secure and resilient platforms that accelerate application delivery Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of enterprise platform engineering solutions across hybrid cloud environments Build and manage cloudnative platforms using Kubernetes OpenShift Docker and AWS services Develop platform capabilities that enable selfservice deployment automation and application lifecycle management Establish and enhance CICD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub and DevOps best practices Drive application modernization initiatives including migration from monolithic applications to microservicesbased architectures Implement platform observability using Splunk Dynatrace Grafana Kibana and centralized logging frameworks Design eventdriven architectures leveraging Kafka RabbitMQ and messaging platforms Define platform standards security controls governance and engineering best practices Collaborate with development infrastructure SRE security and architecture teams to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency Lead root cause analysis and platform reliability improvements Mentor and guide engineering teams on platform engineering DevOps cloudnative technologies and automation practices Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability reliability cost optimization and operational excellence Required Skills Must Have 12 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering Strong experience in KubernetesOpenShift Docker and containerization AWS Cloud Services Jenkins and CICD pipelines JavaSpring Boot based platforms Microservices Architecture Infrastructure as Code and Automation Kafka and RabbitMQ GitHubGitbased source control Observability tools Splunk Dynatrace Grafana Kibana Experience designing highly available scalable and secure enterprise platforms Strong understanding of DevOps SRE and platform engineering principles Experience working in Agile delivery models Good to Have AWS Solution Architect Certification Banking and Financial Services domain experience Platform Developer Experience IDPInternal Developer Platform AIassisted software engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot Service Mesh API Gateway and Cloud Security frameworks Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
