Observability Engineer - London I'm supporting a leading quantitative technology firm that's looking for an experienced Observability Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team. This is a hands-on role focused on building large-scale telemetry platforms, improving Kubernetes observability, and shaping the future of OpenTelemetry across a highly technical engineering environment. The role 🔴 Build scalable telemetry pipelines 🔴 Develop OpenTelemetry collectors, SDKs and exporters 🔴 Improve Kubernetes observability and resilience 🔴 Work closely with Platform Engineering teams to drive automation and reliability What we're looking for 🔴 OpenTelemetry 🔴 Kubernetes 🔴 AWS 🔴 Datadog, New Relic or Dynatrace 🔴 Terraform, Helm or ArgoCD 🔴 Go or Python 🔴 SRE or Platform Engineering background This is one of the strongest observability opportunities in London for engineers who want to build the platform itself, not just consume the tooling.
