Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Go Engineer to join a global Agile engineering team developing scalable, distributed, and highly concurrent software solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Go (Golang), distributed systems, microservices, and modern cloud-native architectures, with experience integrating AI/ML models such as GPT, particularly in real-time conversational applications. You will be involved throughout the complete software development lifecycle—from architecture and prototyping through implementation, testing, deployment, operations, and support. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-performance, scalable, distributed, and concurrent systems, comfortable working with evolving requirements, and able to collaborate effectively across international teams. Key Responsibilities Work as part of a global Agile software engineering team.Design and develop high-quality software using Go.Build scalable, distributed, multi-process, multi-threaded, and highly concurrent applications.Design and implement event-driven microservices and cloud-native services.Integrate software applications with AI/ML models, including GPT-based models and real-time conversational systems.Develop reusable code, components, and services for future platform capabilities.Design and implement distributed systems with appropriate data replication and consistency strategies.Work with gRPC and Protobuf for efficient service-to-service communication.Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including:Architecture and designPrototypingDevelopmentTestingDeploymentOperationsProduction supportMaintain, improve, and modernize existing codebases.Write comprehensive unit tests and troubleshoot and fix defects.Perform and participate in code reviews.Apply software design patterns to create modular, maintainable, performant solutions.Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across multiple teams and locations.Contribute to technical decisions and engineering best practices.Adapt effectively to dynamic environments where requirements may be incomplete or evolving.
