About The Role
The AWS Solution Engineering & Enablement team bridges the gap between solution architecture and scalable delivery.
As part of the AWS Cloud Center of Excellence, you will help transform architectural concepts into reusable, production-ready engineering capabilities that can be adopted across customer engagements.
Working closely with architects, engineers, and technical leaders, you will contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and maintainable cloud solutions, enabling high-quality delivery across areas such as cloud migration, application modernization, platform engineering, DevSecOps, Amazon Connect, and cloud-native applications.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain reusable AWS frameworks, accelerators, automation, and engineering assetsTransform solution architectures into scalable and repeatable implementation patternsDevelop and validate cloud solutions through proofs of concept, prototypes, and technical assessmentsBuild landing zones, Infrastructure as Code modules, CI/CD frameworks, migration tooling, and security automationSupport complex customer engagements with hands-on AWS engineering expertiseCollaborate with architects and engineering teams to improve solution designs and resolve technical challengesEstablish engineering standards, operational readiness criteria, and best practicesCreate technical documentation, reference implementations, runbooks, and reusable assetsEnable delivery teams through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical guidanceContribute to the growth and adoption of Cloud CoE capabilities, accelerators, and intellectual property
Requirements
Strong practical knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native engineering practicesExperience with AI-assisted software engineering tools and agentic development approachesHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar)Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, software delivery automation, and source controlKnowledge of AWS networking, IAM, security, observability, governance, and operational best practicesExperience with distributed systems, microservices, containers, serverless services, and modern application architecturesSkill in translating solution designs into maintainable, scalable, and reusable implementationsStrong engineering mindset focused on automation, quality, security, testing, and operational excellenceExcellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skillsUpper-Intermediate English level or higher
