The LynapseTM core technology transforms hardware specifications into digital twins and automatically generates, tests, and validates hardware-agnostic, OS-agnostic on-board satellite middleware software. LynapseTM is a web-based collaborative modeling and design tool for mission-critical projects, allowing teams to create, test, validate, and simulate data interfaces for dozens or hundreds of hardware components composing satellites, spacecraft, or lunar landers. Role Overview As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) you will bridge the gap between quality assurance and product development. You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness of our LynapseTM platform by developing comprehensive automation suites while actively contributing to the frontend codebase. This unique role blends rigorous testing with feature development, requiring a developer who is passionate about both code quality and user experience. What You’ll Do Quality Engineering & AutomationDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for the frontend using TypeScript. Perform QA development on the frontend side to ensure the highest standards of software reliability across the platform. Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Frontend DevelopmentActively identify, troubleshoot, and fix frontend bugs in our Angular application. Develop new UI/UX features, working closely with designers to enhance the LynapseTM modeling interface. Collaborative Quality StrategyParticipate in design reviews to provide feedback on testability and user impact. Define test strategies for complex AI-driven data interfaces. Who Are We Looking ForWe are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in Luxembourg. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position. We are seeking an engineer with the following qualities: Hybrid Developer Mindset: You love breaking things as much as you love building them. You treat test code with the same rigor as production code. Angular Expert: You are highly proficient in Angular and TypeScript, capable of building UI components and debugging complex state management issues.Automation Architect: You have a proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks that provide fast, reliable feedback.Collaborative Vision: You bridge AI research, embedded systems, and web/cloud technologies to build cohesive products.Communication: You are a clear communicator on technical, strategic and interpersonal levels.Required Qualifications Bachlor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.3+ years of professional software development or QA automation experience Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the Angular framework Experience with modern frontend testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Jasmine/Karma) Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design principles Proven ability to debug complex web applications and identify root causes Familiarity with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Preferred (Nice-to-Have)Experience with Angular state management tools like NgRx, Akita, or NGXS.Expertise in optimizing Angular application performance and bundle size.
