Mid-Level QA Engineer

Job Description: Ardshinbank CJSC is looking for an experienced QA Engineer dedicated to upholding the highest standards of reliability and security in our banking systems and applications. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the software integral to our banking operations is of the utmost quality. Job responsibilities Work collaboratively with internal QA and cross-functional engineering teams. Partner with the Leadership team to adhere to and contribute to company-wide processes and strategies.Conduct individual investigations as needed and enhance technical knowledge through modern technologies.Set up, configure, and utilize role-specific tools and environments for testing purposes.Ensure end-to-end product quality by applying the required testing coverage across all layers.Select appropriate testing tools and techniques to verify the software quality.Create, maintain, and track issues in bug tracking systems (JIRA).Design, maintain, and execute test-specific documentation, including test cases, checklists, scenarios and test plans.Provide well-structured test result reports.Troubleshoot complex issues using run logs and network analysis.Write simple test automation scripts & run the prepared tests. Required qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.Advanced knowledge of software testing fundamentals.Strong experience in analyzing software requirements and creating effective test scenarios.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS concepts, DOM construction, and web application usability.Proficient in client-server architecture and tracking with developer tools.Intermediate experience in API testing (Postman/Swagger).Experience with version control systems and virtualization tools.Experience working with on-demand, cloud service and enterprise web applications.Ability to write simple SQL queries.Contribute to the improvement of test documentationBasic knowledge of the test-automation tools in practice Advanced knowledge as a benefit: Advanced experience in FinTech-related products.Scripting experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.Experience with Playwright and API automation.Knowledge of CI/CD systems.
