In addition, this programme includes various training sessions, networking opportunities and community events. This year, we have several tracks available, including IT Software Engineering track, DevOps & Platform Engineering track, Business & Data Analytics track and Data Engineering track. Choose the one that aligns most with your career aspirations and apply. In the IT Software Engineering track, we are looking for future Software Engineers and User Experience Designers to join our highly skilled teams. You will not be expected to cover everything. The workplace is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility. We currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office. You will: Join one of the FuturePros teams at Danske Bank in Lithuania as a Software Engineer or User Experience Designer, depending on your chosen profile, interests and strengths.If you join us as Software Engineer, you may have a chance to contribute to designing, developing and maintaining applications using technologies such as .NET, .NET Core, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Angular, HTML/CSS or SQL. You may also work with REST APIs, databases, Git, web foundations, CI/CD practices and modern software engineering principles.Depending on the team, you may contribute to building and maintaining cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3 and DynamoDB. You may also work with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle or Maven and support development, deployment, monitoring and automation processes.In some teams, you may also have the opportunity to work with integrated AI environments, learn how AI-powered tools are applied in software development and gain practical experience with DevOps concepts such as Docker and Kubernetes basics.If you join us as User Experience Designer, you may contribute to creating intuitive, accessible and user-friendly digital experiences. You may support user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, visual design and usability improvements while collaborating closely with designers, product owners, engineers and other stakeholders.You will have a chance to collaborate with skilled teams to deliver impactful solutions, improve processes and gain practical experience in modern IT, engineering and design practices. About you: For the Software Engineering profile, you have foundational knowledge in IT, programming or software development, gained through higher education, training programmes, coding school or personal learning.You have basic knowledge of one or more technologies such as .NET, .NET Core, Java, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, Angular, HTML/CSS, SQL, Git, REST APIs or databases.You are familiar with or interested in cloud platforms, DevOps practices and tools such as AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle, Maven or CI/CD pipelines.You are curious about modern software engineering, integrated AI environments and how technology can be used to build reliable, scalable and impactful solutions.For the User Experience profile, you have creative thinking skills and an interest in design, art, communication and user-centered digital solutions.You have awareness of Figma and other industry design tools. Practical knowledge or experience with design tools would be beneficial (if you have any projects to showcase, please include a link in your application). You possess an analytical mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills.You enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders and working within a team to deliver innovative and impactful solutions.You have a B2 level of English for effective communication in international settings. For FuturePros students, the monthly salary is 1750 EUR gross. Your job function in the job contract will be Software Engineering or User Experience, depending on the profile you are applying for. What’s next? All candidates will receive a link to a homework task based on the profile they are applying for. This task is a mandatory part of the selection process and helps us better understand candidates’ skills, interests and potential. Please note that candidates who do not complete the task will not be invited to the next stages. Additionally, candidates will be invited to complete a profile preference questionnaire. Selected candidates will attend assessment events, followed by final interviews with the hiring managers. Expected start date is in November.
