Senior Software Developer with Security Clearance

Overview Seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Developer to join our team in Herndon VA. What will you do? Understand requirements and be able to translate the requirements into implementable solutions. Design and develop software components which may involve interfacing with other functional teams and areas. Coach junior team members on software development best practices, highlighting the impacts of design decisions, and making code efficient. Participate in code and design reviews. Research data sources and technical solutions in order to effectively extract, transform, and load data into a database for data processing and analysis. Work with team members to understand the current product features. Follow the development processes and standards used by the team. Commit to continuous process improvement concerning software integration efforts and CI/CD Pipeline. Ability to think strategically and creatively when formulating solutions and is comfortable briefing or demonstrating ideas and solutions to the team. Do you have what it takes? * Active TS/SCI With Poly Required. * Recent experience developing in Python (3+ years) Experience with ETL Experience in SQL Demonstrated experience in the Software Development Life Cycle to include debugging, testing, and deployment to different environments Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $180,000-$230,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
