Description

As a Proficient DevOps Engineer, candidate will support backend applications within the Payments domain, specifically in the SEPA Direct Debits area. Role & Responsibilities As part of a hybrid team your responsibilities will include: Ensuring high availability and operational stability of the platformsManaging technical and functional incidents, including participation in the on-call rotationSupporting pre-production and production deploymentsContributing to monitoring and alerting improvementsDriving automation initiatives to increase efficiencyEnsuring compliance with ING risk and security standards Required Skills Core Expertise Strong experience in Incident, Change, and Configuration Management (ITIL)Experience in Lifecycle management, risk management, and documentationHands-on experience withUnix/Linux environments (including shell scripting)Red Hat OpenShift or equivalent container platformsRunning containerized microservicesRunning Java components in virtualized environmentStrong knowledge of Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines using YAML, Ansible, Git)Knowledge of Ansible is mustExperience with monitoring and observability tools: ELK, Grafana, PrometheusExperience with Oracle or other relational databasesExperience with Kafka topics usageExperience or strong interest in Payments domainFamiliarity with Agile / Scrum way of workingWillingness to be part of an on-call rotation (24/7 service availability) Additional Skills (Nice to Have) Previous Operations experience within Financial domainUnderstanding of Java and Spring framework conceptsExperience with GridGain, Apache Ignite, or other in-memory data solutionsKnowledge of Cloud computing conceptsInterest in Automation of repetitive tasks Soft Skills Team player with strong collaboration mindsetSolution-driven approachUnderstand the business and acts itProactive and self-motivatedStrong communication skillsLocal language speaking candidate is preferable
