As part of this business unit, you will play a critical role in supporting these strategic objectives in the APAC region. Role Overview Primary Location: SingaporeSummary: The Area Manager Home is responsible for coaching and developing high-performing teams, by supporting the Booking.com strategy for their area, optimizing partner relationships and the industry ecosystem.Purpose: You will translate global strategy to assigned teams to ensure continuous business development towards the commercial objectives of the company.Key Job Responsibilities and Duties Drive a high performance culture amongst the managed team.Steer and direct the team to allow them to achieve organizational, team and individual objectives.Set targets for, monitor progress and manage performance of the partner services teams in your designated area.Identify opportunities to actively represent the Booking.com brand in the ecosystem.Represent Booking.com by leading conversations with the local and regional travel industry and PA/PR to develop business initiatives.Support the team in managing top-tier partners and decision makers for the area.Support the roll out of changes and enable the team to embed commercial Booking.com frameworks into daily operations.Translate and implement the business strategy within the area, ensuring coordination with other departments.Lead the internal business review with regional management on area performance and opportunities to create action plans.Role Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor degreeAdvanced Knowledge (5 - 8 years) of relevant job knowledgeExperience in managing and leading cross-functional teams in an international environmentAbility to land and lead teams through changeStrong stakeholder management and ability to influence stakeholders and key decision makersAbility to identify and operationalize commercial opportunities for the areaPublic Speaking and strong communication skillsLanguage: Local business language and English proficiencyBenefits & Perks - Global Impact, Personal Relevance: Booking.com’s Total Rewards Philosophy is not only about compensation but also about benefits.
