Kubernetes Platform Lead

Responsibilities Provide endtoend engineering administration and lifecycle management of the Internal Kubernetes PlatformBuild and maintain automation solutions to manage platform infrastructure and servicesDevelop platform engineering capabilities that orchestrate automation at scale rather than isolated pipelinesImprove platform reliability availability quality and upgrade processesMeasure and optimize system performance utilization scalability and capacity planningBuild dashboards visualizations and platform insights for end usersIdentify operational issues and implement selfhealing and automation solutionsProvide platform engineering support to software development teamsParticipate in platform architecture system design and capacity management activitiesImplement infrastructure changes during maintenance windows and outofhours activitiesLead and support a local engineering team while collaborating with global engineering teamsDrive continuous improvement engineering excellence and operational efficiency initiativesAutomate manual operational processes and improve platform resilience To be successful in this role you should have Strong handson experience administering and operating Kubernetes platforms in production environmentsDeep understanding of Container technologies and Kubernetes ecosystem componentsStrong Linux administration experience with knowledge of Linux filesystems and networkingExperience with Kubernetesnative technologies such as Istio Cilium Ingress Controllers and Container Storage solutionsStrong engineering and automation skills using Python Bash or GolangExperience with Jenkins Ansible GitHub and CICD platformsKnowledge of Infrastructure Automation and APIdriven platform managementExperience with Splunk Datadog and observability platformsExperience managing infrastructure lifecycle and software delivery processesUnderstanding of ITIL processes including Incident Problem and Change ManagementStrong troubleshooting problemsolving and analytical skillsExperience managing and supporting production environmentsAbility to identify bottlenecks and proactively improve platform performanceStrong communication accountability and collaboration skillsEngineering mindset with a passion for automation and continuous improvement Skills Mandatory Skills : Jenkins, Kubernetes, Python
