As our new DevOps Engineer you'll join Squad Matrix based in Copenhagen, reporting to Jesper, working to build Lunar's governed self-service data platform alongside our data platform and analytics engineers. Matrix owns Hubble, the internal data platform that makes data usable across Lunar. Your focus won't be on building pipelines or analytical products. It'll be on the infrastructure, deployment mechanisms and operational capabilities those systems depend on. You'll make running data workloads feel like a well-engineered platform rather than a collection of individually operated systems. What will you do? Build Kubernetes capabilities for Flink, Kafka, and distributed databases — operators, lifecycle management, storage, isolationCreate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for data infrastructureOwn observability and reliability — metrics, tracing, SLOsAutomate manual ops through IaC and internal toolingPartner with platform teams to extend shared foundations for stateful workloads What are we looking for in you?
