Som led i JP/Politikens Hus’ digitale transformation blev Eventplatform-teamet etableret i 2025.
Teamets ansvar er at bygge og vedligeholde en central event- og messagingplatform, som skal understøtte en mere sammenhængende koncern-it-arkitektur og stærkere governance på tværs af koncernens forretninger.
Vi søger en Cloud Engineer til at styrke vores team, som i dag består af to engineers, en tech lead og en product manager.
Eventplatformen er baseret på Apache Kafka, kører på AWS MSK og er bygget som en self-service-platform for resten af koncernen.
Derudover udvikler og vedligeholder teamet en række applikationer og services, som understøtter andre tekniske afdelinger i koncernen.
Vi er et selvstændigt team med et tæt samarbejde med øvrige platformteams, blandt andet Data Platform og Internal Developer Platform.

Cloud Engineer for the Event Platform at JP/Politikens Hus
As part of JP/Politikens Hus’ digital transformation, the Event Platform team was established in 2025.
The team is responsible for building and maintaining a central event and messaging platform that will support a more cohesive group IT architecture and stronger governance across the enterprise business areas.
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to strengthen our team, which currently consists of two engineers, a tech lead, and a product manager.
The Event Platform is based on Apache Kafka, runs on AWS MSK, and is built as a self-service platform for the rest of the enterprise.
In addition, the team develops and maintains a range of applications and services that support other technical departments across the enterprise.
We are an independent team that works closely with other platform teams, including the Data Platform and Internal Developer Platform teams.
What will you be doing?
Build and further develop the Event Platform, which is a central part of JP/Politikens Hus’ digital infrastructureDevelop self-service solutions so teams across the enterprise can work quickly and securely with events and integrations without relying on manual processesOperate and maintain the platform with a focus on stability, security, and high operational qualityAutomate operations and improve the platform so maintenance takes up as little time as possible in day-to-day workSupport and collaborate with our technical colleagues so they get the most out of the platformDevelop internal tools and services that make it easier for other teams to integrate with and use the platformWork closely with other platform teams to create a cohesive, scalable, and governance-supporting architecture across the enterpriseShare responsibility for both technical decisions and the continued development of the team’s way of working and the direction of the platform
