Role Overview
Join our dynamic team as an SAP Business One Technical Consultant, where you'll play a key role in implementing and supporting SAP B1 solutions.
As part of our team in Muscat, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver robust, efficient and scalable solutions that drive business performance.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on technical support for SAP Business One, including development, configuration, integration, and administrationDesign, develop and maintain SAP B1 add-ons, integrations, and customisations using SAP B1 SDK (DI API, UI API, Service Layer)Optimise system performance through advanced SQL queries and efficient database designImplement, troubleshoot, and support SAP B1 on HANA and/or MS SQL environmentsManage user authorisations, approval procedures, workflows, alerts, UDFs, UDTs, UDOs, and formatted searchesSupport business processes with REST APIs, web services, and third-party integrationsCarry out database migrations, master and transactional data management, and ensure data integrityAssist in UAT, deployment, change management, and provide post-go-live supportAnalyse issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve production incidents efficientlyTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and documentation
Must Have Requirements
4+ years hands-on experience with SAP Business One technical solutionsExtensive experience working with SAP B1 on HANA and/or MS SQLStrong SQL skills: complex queries, stored procedures, troubleshooting, and optimisationHands-on expertise with SAP B1 SDK, specifically DI API, UI API, and Service LayerProven experience in SAP B1 administration, configuration and system maintenanceHands-on knowledge of authorisations, approvals, workflows, alerts, UDFs, UDTs, UDOs, and formatted searchesDevelopment and maintenance of SAP B1 add-ons and custom integrationsExperience with REST APIs, web services, and integration to third-party systemsExcellent troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support capabilitiesStrong experience with master data, transactional data, and data migration in SAP B1Direct involvement in UAT, deployment, change management and post-go-live support activitiesBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
