Senior DevOps and Systems Engineer

We are assisting our client, an established international online casino operating within the iGaming industry, in recruiting an experienced Senior DevOps & Systems Engineer. The company already has operations abroad and is now expanding its presence by establishing a new office in Limassol, Cyprus. The successful candidate will take hands-on responsibility for the company’s production infrastructure and DevOps environment, ensuring the security, stability, scalability and continuous availability of its online casino platform. The role combines infrastructure management with DevOps automation and requires someone comfortable working with business-critical, 24/7 systems. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Production, Staging and Development environments.Administer, secure and optimize Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.Ensure high availability, performance and stability of the online casino platform.Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.Automate deployments, rollbacks and infrastructure operations.Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes environments.Configure and manage Cloudflare, including DNS, SSL/TLS, WAF, DDoS protection, firewall rules and load balancing.Manage web servers, domains, reverse proxies and network services.Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.Manage backups, replication, disaster recovery and business continuity processes.Monitor infrastructure, APIs, databases and network services.Detect, investigate and resolve production incidents and technical issues.Maintain infrastructure security, including IP whitelisting, API keys, SSL certificates and service accounts.Support technical integrations with payment providers, game providers and other third-party partners.Work closely with Developers, QA, Product and external technology providers.Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, security, automation and operational efficiency. Requirements Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, System Administration or a similar infrastructure-focused role.Advanced Linux administration skills.Strong knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS and SSL/TLS.Hands-on experience with Cloudflare.Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or similar cloud platforms.Strong experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of Kubernetes.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.Bash and/or Python scripting experience.Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, Datadog or similar.Experience with logging platforms such as ELK Stack, Loki, Graylog or Splunk.Experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.Good understanding of backup, disaster recovery and high-availability environments.Strong infrastructure security knowledge.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve critical production incidents independently.Good written and spoken English. Strong Advantage Previous experience within iGaming, online casino, FinTech, Payments or another high-volume 24/7 environment.Experience managing Kubernetes environments.Strong AWS infrastructure knowledge.Knowledge of PCI DSS and ISO 27001.Experience with security tools, VPNs, Zero Trust architecture or SIEM platforms.Experience with high-availability databases and clustering.Previous experience providing on-call production support.
