FXCareer.eu is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Junior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join its technology team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will report directly to a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer, providing an excellent opportunity to develop technically while gaining hands-on experience across a modern, multi-cloud infrastructure environment. The company is currently transitioning from a legacy Python architecture towards an event-driven environment built around .NET, RabbitMQ, Redpanda and Protobuf. Salary €2,200 – €3,000 gross per month, depending on experience and technical background. The Role Working alongside and reporting to the Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer, you will: Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, Helm and ArgoCDSupport Kubernetes environments and GitOps-based deploymentsAssist with cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP and VPS/bare-metal providersSupport the containerization and migration of legacy applications to modern .NET servicesWork with technologies including Docker, RabbitMQ, Redpanda and ProtobufMaintain monitoring, logging, dashboards and alerts using ELK Stack and GrafanaSupport DNS, proxies, load balancing and edge infrastructure, including CloudflareAssist development teams with build and release processes using Docker, Gradle, Maven and Make What We’re Looking For Experience or strong practical exposure in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or Systems EngineeringKnowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD and GitHub ActionsFamiliarity with AWS, GCP or similar cloud environmentsGood understanding of networking, DNS, proxies and load balancingExposure to monitoring and observability tools such as ELK and GrafanaStrong interest in automation, infrastructure and modern deployment practicesFluent EnglishArabic would be considered an advantageBased in Cyprus or able to commute to the Nicosia office under a hybrid working arrangement This is a particularly good opportunity for someone at the early stages of their DevOps career who already has a solid technical foundation and wants to develop further under the guidance of a senior infrastructure professional.
