Software Engineer - Business Intelligence

A large healthcare technology business is looking for a software developer to join the team. The role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of modular components for standard software solutions within financial and administrative environments. You will play a key part in implementing high-performance business intelligence solutions and shaping data-driven projects. What you'll be doing • Designing and implementing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services. • Modeling and optimizing data warehouse structures and developing complex T-SQL queries. • Designing ETL processes and ensuring the long-term quality and performance of data platforms. • Analyzing large data sets and performing database performance optimizations to support business decisions. • Utilizing AI-supported development tools and participating in code reviews and release processes. What we're looking for • Proven experience in developing business intelligence solutions, data warehouses, or database-oriented applications. • Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, MDX, and relational database performance analysis. • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field. • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), ETL processes, and tools such as Git, GitLab, and Jira. • Practical experience or strong interest in using AI-supported development tools like GitHub Copilot or similar platforms.
